caught l changed the world and still mourning over the loss of an extremely intelligent investigator. irrelevant to the death note. munched on popcorn and i thought i smelt like butter thereafter.

a fruitful stayover where i managed to dig a whole load of information out from besties. rare heart-to-heart talks while sipping through glasses of wine. i wished the wine could drown the sorrows, but it didn't. if only wine could flood the whole examination hall...

quite a few miniscule surprises here and there for these past few days. thanks for popping the joyous piece of news, cl! thanks for scoring full marks for problem sums! thanks for telling me jokes! thanks for sharing innermost secrets!!! =) thanks! thanks! thanks!

cj7 is indeed a steer from the previous stephen chow's shows. laugh hard, cry hard. the alien seems fluffy and flexible. it looks so pinchable and pullable!!!

my first valentine's day card! thanks baobei!~ :D

valentine's day is getting gloomier as i grow old. so many people are fretting over not being able to get a date while some are rejecting all their dates. obviously, i am the former! i'm free that day. date, anyone?

my student pang sehed me for the second time this week...

first time ever to agree so readily to a midnight movie. it's probably due to the festive season. decided on kung fu dunk since i'm going to watch cj7 with my baobeis.



to be critical, it's so-so, with far-fetched kung fu scenes and an empty and expected plot. not much of a climax and the usual modern day fairy tale ending. alongside with other critics, charlene choi's character is indeed redundant and superficial. if you want me to be lenient, the only thing i can say is, eric tsang and chen bo lin definitely look gorgeous in the show.

在车上无聊的自拍。。。

今年的时间似乎过得比往年还快。可能是因为长大了，会小赌宜情。跟往年一样，去了婆婆和外婆的家，拿了同数的红包，里头装着相同数目的钱，拿红包变成了一种不变及无聊的形式。

“当世界不知不觉地变了，有时候，我怀念以前的我。做的梦虽然远远的，想象是一种快乐。”

有点对不起那些叫我不要变的人，叫我不要画着浓妆伪装自己的人。在这个肤浅的世界，外面的诱惑太多，太大了。我无法无视俗人的眼光。毅力不够，被动摇了。这个世界很现实。我也已经渐渐明白了那些童话里的故事之所以叫童话，因为它不可能成为现实。

工作让我增广见闻，让我体会这个世界的肤浅。我无法找到更贴切的形容。肤浅。现实。市侩。我好心痛，以前的我已被埋在这些贬词低下。

我变了。我没有理由为自己辩解，因为我的确是变了。只是，我对这个变了的我，不太适应，不太自在。

后来想一想，为何我要向别人交待？我并没有伤天害理，只是长大了。人迟早都会踏上这个不归路，只是时间长短的问题。我先踏了。不管如何，我希望内心不变。

my neighbour saw this exaggerating stack of shoe boxes which were placed on top of my bursting shoe cabinet and asked me if i were selling shoes. lelong! lelong! women's shoes for sales!!!

anyway, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

my american kids' parents ask me out for a chinese cuisine dinner 2 weeks later. :) and, they gave me my first ang bao for this new year! so delighting and surprising! :D great things are rolling in! i hope they keep rolling till i'm flat on the ground! hahahahahahaha!

dim sum dinner at chinatown with the sa people! it's been ages since we last met. :) anyway, dinner was fantastic and the pocket-sized crowd was surprising. aw. the strawberry flavoured da bai tu candy is out of stock already! :( almost every other stall experienced a dramatic drop in prices!!! $1 for each box of chinese new year goodies and lots of stocks left. tough year ahead, man.
